Child Rights & Wellbeing
Impact Statement
Smart Play Network consider the rights of children in all aspects of our work.
We exist to support all children, families and communities to exercise children’s right to play and their right to be consulted on any decisions around creating play opportunities for them.
We recognise that what children say matters and that we can learn from children as well as supporting children to learn through play.
We ensure that at every step in supporting our members, writing policies and direct delivery of our services that we consider the impact of the child’s rights.
Where appropriate, we utilise the Child Rights & Wellbeing Assessment approach when developing new services.
